Salt & Sparkle is a small, independent guide written by people who live, eat and spend their weekends east of the Cooper. We started it because friends kept texting us the same question — "where should we go?" — and we got tired of retyping the answer.

Everything here is based on places we'd actually send our own friends: the dock bar with the best sunset, the brunch worth the wait, the class that had everyone laughing. We add price ranges because nobody likes surprises when the bill comes, and we update listings as places change.

How We Work

We're not a booking agency and we don't take reservations. Some links on this site go to partners we trust, and we only list businesses we'd recommend anyway. Prices are estimates — always confirm directly before you book.
